Battle of the Flatbreads 🍕

Last night we made low carb flatbreads using josephspitabread lavash bread. We made one veggie & one pesto shrimp, but we couldn’t decide which one we liked more!

To make your own start by spraying one piece of josephspitabread lavash bread with oil & then add your favorite toppings. Our veggie one had; provolone, red onions, black olives, sliced tomatoes, sliced fresh jalapeños, garlic paste & cilantro. Bake it at 300° for about 12 minutes. You want the bread to be crispy enough, but not burnt. When it’s finished, add more cilantro.

For the shrimp pesto; spread pesto all over one piece of lavash bread, then add provolone, sliced tomatoes, white onions, garlic paste & cooked shrimp. Bake at 300° for about 12-15 minutes. When it’s done, add fresh basil & chopped parsley.

These flatbreads make a great “pizza” night or a pizza replacement when you’re trying to stay low carb! Each piece has only 6 net carbs! These flatbreads are a fun & easy way to keep dinner healthy!
