Save this recipe guys! These macaroons are low carb, require minimal ingredients & are super easy to make! They are also high in fiber, iron & zinc! But most importantly they are so tasty! Check out the deets below to make them!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup swervesweetie granular sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
4 eggs (whites) at room temperature
1 cup lilys_sweets chocolate chips

How to make them:
Start by preheating your oven to 300Β°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl mix together the sugar, vanilla extract & the unsweetened coconut flakes. In a separate bowl with an electric mixer beat the egg whites on a medium speed until the medium peaks begin to form. Then transfer the egg whites to the other ingredients in the large bowl & fold the egg whites in.

Use an ice cream scoop or similar size spoon to drop the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the macaroons begin to turn golden brown. Allow them to cool before adding the melted chocolate.

Once the macaroons have cooled, dip the bottom of them into melted chocolate & let them harden. Then, drizzle the melted chocolate over the macaroons & let them harden again. Once the chocolate has hardened, they’re ready to eat!
