Paleo Chocolate Banana Cake 🍌
Grab your brown bananas & go make this cake! This chocolate dream is made from simple & all natural ingredients. Have a slice with your morning coffee or enjoy it as a dessert! Here’s how to make it 👇🏼
2 over ripe bananas
2 Tbsp choczero maple syrup
2 cups almond flour
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup lilys_sweets chocolate chips
2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
Combine all the ingredients (except chocolate chips & coconut) in a blender & blend until smooth.
Pour the batter into a 9 inch greased pan & bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until the center has completely cooked through. Let it cool for at least 30 minutes before adding the melted chocolate & shredded coconut.
Once it has cooled, melt down the chocolate chips & pour melted chocolate all over the cake until it is completely covered with chocolate. Then, sprinkle the shredded coconut all over the cake until it is completely covered. Let it sit for about 30 minutes before serving.
Is it a desert or a breakfast? You decide! You can also make this batter into Paleo chocolate muffins. The batter should make about 12 muffins and you would bake the muffins for about 20-25 minutes at 350°.
